Where’s Jimmy

paint, paint can, paint drum, oil drum, color, seattle, industrial photography, seattle docksThis one is aptly titled “JimmyHoffa.”

I was out wandering around the docks and industrial area of Seattle when I came across these paint drums. There were thousands stack super high. Piles and piles everywhere.

When my eyes landed on this big pile of used junk I thought…. now that is art! And I captured several angles, wide and close up, and then decided on this one as my best.

What I really loved about these cans was the colors dried inside. And when I popped my three exposures into Photomatix they seemed to explode in colors and luminance. The image feels a tag grunge mixed with surreal.

I hope you enjoy this colorful HDR image. Thanks for stopping by to see my art.
