Second Coming

Second ComingThe city line of Seattle and the Seattle Aquarium seem mere fodder in this photograph. What strikes me as most interesting is the sky. What my eye sees is a bright sky highlighted by scattered and dynamic clouds. What my mind sees is most different.

My mind wanders, imagines, ponders angels dancing in the sky as wispy clouds. Angels heralding the second coming in gentle flowing joy. Can you imagine it… the sky gets brighter and brighter, eventually the clouds zoom away to reveal Christ shining down upon us… coming closer and closer.

Ok, back to reality.

Anyway, this split second thought in my mind about this photograph seemed to give it more meaning that a simple skyline at 5pm. So… I aptly titled the image Second Coming.
